Education: 
Vernacular Final.  Acquired deep knowledge of Sanskrit, Marathi, Hindi languages, Studied Vedas, Upanishdas, various ancient texts on Hathayoga, Indian Philosophy and Spirituality. Also studied and practiced Herbal Medicines and Shivambhu Chikitsa.

Service:
Joined the then Bombay State Police Department as a  police constable in 1939. Worked at various  places in the Dist.of Jalgaon, Dhulia etc. and transferred to Bombay city in 1948. Retired in 1976 after meritorious service of 37 years with clean service record as Sub-Inspector from CID Branch of Maharashtra Police Force.  He was honored by then Chief Minister of Bombay State Late Shri Morarjibhai Desai in 1952.

Physical Activities:
He acquired thorough knowledge of Indian wrestling and Marshal Art and established 24 Gymnasiums at various places of work wherever he was transferred during his service. He believed that physical weakness is the greatest sin.   After realizing that mere physical exercises are not sufficient for total development of human being, he switched to Yogic practices since 1948. He rendered service to humanity free of charge till his last breath i.e. 18th July 1999 through Yoga, Ayurveda, Nature cure, Shivambhu (Urinetherepy), Adhyatma (spiritualism).

Yoga activities:
So far he has served about 10,00,000 people who have been benefited by Yoga practice 90% of them were suffering from various ailments, 60% of this total number are women. People come from different strata of society irrespective of caste creed and religion. The total cure was offered for common cold, sinus trouble, headaches, Blood pressure, ulcers, stomach problems, Acidity, Piles, Heart problems, Depressions etc. through Yoga Nature cure system. It is observed that all functional disorders showed improvement and all body systems are set in order resulting in total transformation of personality. Guruji is in fact putting into action work of WHO - Total Health i.e. Physical, Mental, Social and Spiritual health. Guruji imparted to the Yoga practitioners. the mental and moral training (which should form a part of Education). Yog Aspirants Inspired by Guruji`s marathon work in the field of Yoga-Yagnya are converted into selfless Yoga Teachers who are running about 65 centers in Mumbai.

Contents of Yog Courses:
The more weightage is given to cleansing processes (shuddhi kriyas) i.e. Dhouti, Neti, Kapalbhati, Trataka, Nauli and Basti, Suryanamaskar and some asana for physical cleansing and toning of muscles. Chanting of prayer, Gayatri Mantra, Omkar, discourses on Yama and Niyama help shape up the mind (i.e. mind cleansing). Astonishing results are obtained at all our centers through this set of yogic practices.
Guruji gives special stress in training women in Yoga Therapy as woman has to play many important roles in family. Trained mother in Yoga Therapy can be ideal mother and she has good impact on family and can develop a national character which is the need of the hour. Women participation is about 60%.

Special Guidance:
Guruji gave special guidance to chronic cases and as per requirement he uses Herbal medicines, Urine therapy, and Nature cure along with Yoga.

Guruji’s Contribution:
Out of self experience he devised three Yoga Programmes useful to common man 1) Preliminary   2) Pranayama   3) Yoga Teachers Training
